Armenian American Museum Showing Progress Nine Months After Ground Breaking
Construction at the future site of the Armenian American Museum is showing visible signs of progress. The project in Glendale Park near the high traffic intersection of Brand Blvd and Colorado Blvd in Glendale, CA, has been planned for more than seven years and began construction during the Summer of 2021.
The future museum is a two-phase construction project. Phase 1 is the foundation phase and includes the parking garage and foundational component of the build. The phase two horizon phase entails the construction of the two level 50,820 square foot museum building and is expected to be completed by summer 2024.
The Armenian American Museum was designed by Alajajian Marcoosi Architects with the museum's permanent exhibition focused on the Armenian genocide designed by Gallagher and Associates. Construction is being handled by PNG Builders.
