1.5B Renovation for Las Vegas Venetian Resort

Las Vegas' Venetian Resort is embarking on a $1.5 billion reinvestment project. According to the resort, it is, “the largest and most expensive hotel renovation in history.”

Scheduled to coincide with the resort's 25th anniversary, this project is projected to encompass every facet of the iconic Las Vegas establishment, from a re-imagining of its lion emblem to a complete overhaul of its accommodations.

All 4,000 suites within the Venetian tower will receive upgrades reflecting “energy, spirit and warmth,” the resort detailed in a press release. Suites will boast a “contemporary, fresh design” that takes cues from the traditional ornate costumes of the Venetian Carnival. The resort expects the renovated suites to be ready for booking sometime in September.

In addition to the guest rooms, the project will introduce new entertainment venues such as the Palazzo High Limit Lounge, a revamped sportsbook, and a poker room slated for a summer debut. Furthermore, the resort will unveil a selection of chef-led dining concepts to elevate its culinary offerings.

A substantial portion of the investment, $188 million, will be allocated to upgrading the on-site convention center, where enhancements will include an upscale color scheme, plush lounge seating for meetings, and cutting-edge technology tailored to the requirements of its longstanding group clientele.
