Covid-19 Safety Top Priority for Skanska
International builder, Skanska, has a new office in Portland Oregon that will be a model of workplace safety. The new office, which had been designed pre-pandemic, has incorporated changes to provide for social distancing and health requirements to protect workers as the nation settles into the new normal.
The building that houses the new office is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and as Skanska USA senior vice president Joe Schneider says when describing the location, "It's just a great part of town, and you have a lot of options."
The renovation cost close to $6.4 million and is designed to accommodate 80 employees.
